WinASO Disk Cleaner makes eliminating system clutter a piece of cake, but we only wish it covered a few more areas. The program's clean, intuitive interface is easy enough for anyone to grasp. Every junk file on your hard drive is exposed with a simple click. Filtering the files for a custom search takes little effort. WinASO Disk Cleaner gives the option to include read files, system files, hide files, and zero size files in the scan. Unfortunately, singling out invalid entries and duplicates isn't permitted. On the flipside, you can define paths to be excluded from the search too, although this option is a lot more tedious. Results were produced slightly slower than we imagined, but we are able to determine the files to keep once they are given. Dumped files can be sent to the Recycle Bin or permanently deleted. Although it isn't full-blown privacy protection, WinASO Disk Cleaner successfully got rid of cookies, temporary Internet files, the Recent Documents list, Windows history, and Recycle Bin items during testing. You won't clean your whole system using this application, but if junk files are your pet peeve, it can take care of them with no problems.
